-

THE founder of a communications agency in Birmingham has become its chairman 18 years after he set up the firm.

Anthony Tattum has switched roles at Jewellery Quarter-based Big Cat to focus on the agency’s expansion.

Hannah Davies has been promoted to managing director in Mr Tattum’s place, having joined the agency three years ago as head of marketing before stepping up to associate director.

She previously worked for M&C Saatchi in Sydney.

Mr Tattum said: “We have an ambitious vision for the agency to become a UK top five independent marketing communications agency.

“Hannah has made a transformative impact on the business since joining Big Cat and has been instrumental in delivering business growth.

“Her move to managing director is an obvious and natural progression, enabling me to focus on establishing stronger partnerships which will allow the agency to expand to where we want to be.

“We will see an expansion of her strategic insight and client management across the running of the business which I am confident will build the agency even further.”

Ms Davies added: “My move to managing director is an exciting one, bringing new challenges and more opportunities for making a difference.”
