Engineering firm moving to estate

-

A BLACK Country trading estate is fully let after a distributor of specialist engineering products relocated to a new base.

Hayley Fluid Power has agreed a deal on a 14,000 sq ft industrial unit on the Forge Trading Estate in Halesowen.

The company is part of the national Hayley Group, distributing hydraulic and pneumatic components, as well as providing related products and services.

Hayley Fluid Power’s new premises will house offices, stores and hydraulic hose production facilities along with a quality control function and a pneumatic control panel build facility.

The move from its existing premises in Shelah Road, Halesowen, will allow it to plan further growth, including trade counter facilities to further support local business. Director John Jones said: “We have recently increased staff numbers which is why there was a necessity to move and we definitely see a need for further recruitment once we have moved. We were attracted to Forge Trading Estate because of its proximity to our head office and the security of the site given our occasional need for 24/7 operations made it ideal.”

Max Shelley, from Bulleys which acted on the deal, said: “We’re pleased to have found the right property for Hayley Fluid Power to relocate to and the improved facilities are just right for the company’s growth.”
