Demand sees expansion of architects

-

ARCHITECTURE practice Corstorphine + Wright has grown its Birmingham office following an increase in demand for its services.

The company, which is headquartered in Warwick, will remain at Alpha Works but has taken a suite almost three times the size of its previous space.

This is the third space the practice has occupied at Alpha Works, the serviced office hub at Alpha Tower in Birmingham city centre.

Director Simon Jones said: “In just three years, we’ve moved from a two-person office in the Jewellery Quarter, to a six-person, then ten-person and now a 20-person office.

“Our new office includes a breakout space and being in a serviced office environment gives us the flexibility to increase our space in line with our growing requirement.

“This reflects the level of activity that we’re seeing in central Birmingham and the number of projects that we’re winning.”

Corstorphine + Wright has around 150 staff based in their Midlands offices in Warwick, Stourbridge and Alpha Tower.

The firm currently has 122 active projects in Birmingham and the West Midlands including the Dandara apartment schemes next to Alpha Tower.
