-

A NEW cosmetic surgery practice will open on the Calthorpe Estate in Edgbaston later this year.

Billing itself as Birmingham’s first cosmetic “super-clinic”, Kat & Co Aesthetics Clinic will launch on Calthorpe Road, relocating from its current base near Brindleyplace.

The cosmetic centre is the brainchild of the Birmingham surgeon Chien Kat and will have every treatment under one roof, including surgical and non-surgical procedures.

Mrs Kat said: “It has long been my dream to create Birmingham’s first super-clinic.

“The impressive Georgian premises on Calthorpe Road will allow us to finally make this dream a reality, by enhancing our capacity and extending our leading services.

“The clinic will have a purposebuilt theatre and recovery for a wide range of cosmetic procedures that can be carried out under local anaesthetic and conscious sedation.”

Natasha Walkden, sales and marketing manager for Calthorpe Estates, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Kat & Co Aesthetics to the Calthorpe Estate.

“Many of the businesses located in Edgbaston Medical Quarter are at the cutting edge of world-class medical technology and, as a leading Midlands plastic surgeon, Chien Kat is undoubtedly among them.”

Edgbaston Medical Quarter now has more than 180 medical organisations on the estate.
