British rapper PROFESSOR GREEN is coming to Birmingham on tour, months after a shocking injury.

The 35-year-old was forced to cancel a string of dates earlier in the year after fracturing a vertebrae in his neck following three seizures. Now recovered, he will perform at the O2 Institute on Thursday, November 21, in support of forthcomin­g album M.O.T.H.

Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, released his debut single, I Need You Tonight, in 2010. The following year saw him score his first UK No.1 with the track Read All About It, featuring Emeli Sande.

Film fans will have the chance to relive some of the greatest movies in an immersive concert that’s coming to Birmingham.

MUSIC FROM THE MOVIES will feature Oscar Award-winning films including Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Batman, Jurassic Park, E.T., Pirates of the Caribbean and more when it comes to Symphony Hall on Friday, October 18.

Conducted by Anthony Inglis, the London Concert Orchestra will perform the scores of John Williams, Howard Shore and Nino Rota.

BBC RADIO 1XTRA LIVE will be returning to Birmingham later this year with a star-studded line-up.

The station’s flagship live music event will take place at Arena Birmingham on Saturday, October 1.

The line-up features Aitch, French Montana, home town boy Jaykae, 16-year-old US phenomenon Lil Tecca, Ms Banks, Popcaan and more yet to be announced.

Jamaican musician CHRONIXX will be performing at Arena Birmingham on Sunday, November 10.

One of the hottest reggae artists on the scene, the 26-year-old released his second studio album, Chronology, in 2017, and it earned him his first Grammy nomination.

Chronixx will be joined on stage by 19-year-old Koffee, who released her debut album, Rapture, in 2018.

Grime and hip-hop artist KANO will perform at Birmingham’s Town Hall on Saturday, October 5.

Kano will be joined on stage by a live band, which will give fans the chance to witness his music like never before.

The show will follow the release of Kano’s sixth studio album, Hoodies All Summer, which is due on August 30.

Acclaimed guitar maestro PAUL GILBERT brings his new album Behold Electric Guitar to The Mill in Birmingham on September 23 as part of his nine-date UK tour. American punk rockers BLACK FLAG take to The Mill stage on October 8 as they return to the UK for the first time in 35 years.
