Lodders celebrates its top rankings in guides

-

Law firm Lodders’ Birmingham-based Family Law practice marked its top rankings in independent guides to the UK’s best law firms and lawyers with drinks at the Jam House, St Paul’s Square.

Over 100 guests joined the Lodders Family team to celebrate its continued success and recognition in the Legal 500 and the Chambers and Partners 2020.

The Family team were ranked in Band 1 in the Legal 500, with team head Beverley Morris individually ranked as Band 1. The Chambers UK Guide describes the team as ‘‘outstanding’’, names Beverly as one of its First Tier, top ranking family lawyers, ranks Caroline Dresden in Band 2, and names Vivienne Middleton as an ‘‘associate to watch’’.

The top placings follow Lodders’ Family Law practice’s nomination as ‘Family Law firm of the Year’ for the Midlands and Wales in the national Family Law Awards 2019.

At the party, the Family Law team was joined by clients, barristers and professional contacts including Liz McGrath QC, Charles Westrope of Bridgegate Wealth, and representatives from Ernst & Young, Bedford Row Chambers and KLO Financial Services.

Several London-based barristers from 29 Bedford Row Chambers joined the celebrations including Nick Allen QC, Philip Cayford QC and Sassa Anne Amaouche who represented

Graham Mills alongside Beverley Morris in the Supreme Court last year, in the case of Mills v Mills.

Welcoming guests to the inaugural drinks event, Beverley said: ‘‘The team continues to focus on delivering legal expertise with empathy and understanding, which has earned us the highest recognition by the most respected guides to the UK’s best lawyers and law firms.”
