NEW MAN OF STEEL?

RUMOURS last year linking

Michael B Jordan, below, with Superman seem to have some truth to them.

Showbiz bible Variety is reporting the Black Panther star has been talking to Warner Bros about a project based around DC’s Man of Steel.

Warners is apparently trying to find a way to make “Superman relevant to modern audiences”, and Jordan, who wowed as Eric Killmonger in Marvel’s 2018 hit, could be just the man to do it. Variety claims there was a meeting between Jordan and the studio, with the star apparently “pitching a vision for the character”.

BOLDLY GOING ...

STAR Trek Discovery is two series in, yet UK fans who don’t have Netflix have still not had a chance to see it.

That changes this month, as the show – which stars Sonequa Martin-Green, right, as Michael Burnham – finally arrives on broadcast television.

Fans who have yet to see Jason Issacs turn as Captain Gabriel Lorca can tune in to E4 on Sunday, December 15 at 8pm, to see the first series get underway. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
