STRANGER THINGS: INTO THE FIRE #1

THE GAME IS AFOOT...

IT’S taken a while, but work on the third film in the Robert Downey Jr, (below)/Jude Law’s Sherlock Holmes series seems to be starting. Rumours are circulating that Peaky Blinders star Paul Anderson has been cast in the film – which has been on again/ off again since A Game of Shadows came out in 2011. An initial release date of December 2020, became December 2021 – but whatever the way, it would seem Holmes and Co will be back.

THE ROCK HITS HARD

DWAYNE JOHNSON is not a man who does things by halves.

The Rock has been hitting the gym even harder in preparation for his role as Black Adam. Sharing a video on Instagram, the star wrote: “Kickin’ off 2020 training extremely hard for my upcoming role as Black Adam.” Black Adam, which starts filming in the summer, is a spin-off from Shazam! centering on the film’s anti-hero, a once mighty superhero turned supervillain, corrupted by power.
