Contenders named for 2020 Legal Awards

THE shortlist for Birmingham Law Society’s 2020 Legal Awards has been unveiled.

The 19th annual event will celebrate achievemen­t among law firms and individual­s across 12 different categories including overall law firms of the year.

Among those firms with multiple nomination­s are Anthony Collins, DWF, Eversheds and Irwin Mitchell.

Shortliste­d nominees will be interviewe­d by a panel of judges and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the ICC on March 27.

A lifetime achievemen­t award will also be presented on the night for someone who has given exceptiona­l service to the Birmingham legal sector.

This year’s guest speaker will be broadcaste­r and writer Reverend Richard Coles.
