New headquarters for energy consultancies

-

ENERGY consultancies based in Worcestershire for nearly two decades have moved to a new head office.

EIC, and its sister company T-Mac, have taken 3,445 sq ft of space at North Moons Moat in Redditch on a long term lease.

EIC provides energy consultancy services to a broad range of businesses and schools to help them secure the best contracts with suppliers while T-Mac provides specialist metering and intelligent control systems.

They have more than 800 clients nationwide, including major names such as HSBC and Ladbrokes.

Group director of operations Jas Dosanjh said: “The business has been based here in Redditch for nearly 20 years and its roots go back to the 1970s.

“We were bought by a new owner, Majestic Securities, last year and that has given the business a fresh lease of life.

“But we discovered we needed to move out of our former head offices with just a month’s notice.

“A lot of our people work from home, and we have another office in Bury St Edmunds but we still have around 50 people working out of our Redditch headquarters.

“The move has enabled us to right size our offices to better suit our needs.”

Ben Truslove, joint managing director at property consultancy John Truslove, helped the companies secure their new premises. He said: “Coltham Developments is an excellent landlord and worked with us to enable Redditch to retain the headquarters of this long-established business.

“EIC is now secure in new premises and, with the backing of new owners, looks set for fresh growth.”
