HS2 recently advised there would be “test piling” at locations near to the A452.

A range of activity is also take place outside the West Midlands boundaries, in Warwickshire.

The line will enter Solihull near Berkswell having cut through the neighbouring county. The impact that the scheme will have on the Kenilworth Greenway – a popular walking, cycling and horse-riding route – was recently reported

Works at Bodymoor Heath Road and the A4091 have been postponed until the autumn.

But Faraday Avenue and A446 near Hams Hall, the M42 near junction 7a and the Gilson Road overbridge, Gilson Road and Gilson Drive, near Coleshill, and the A446, near Water Orton, are among the other areas of activity.
