The Joker’s evil has spread beyond the confines of Gotham, and he’s now the most wanted man in the world. Always one step ahead, the Clown Prince of Crime has fled overseas and Jim Gordon is faced with the biggest manhunt of his career.

The problem is he’s not the only one hunting Joker... Running alongside the main story is a backup tale featuring DC’s most controversial new villain, Punchline.

From writer James Tynion IV, with art by Mirka Andolfo,

NOTTINGHAM #1

This innovative tale flips the Robin Hood legend on its head.

There’s been a series of grisly murders around Sherwood Forest, and the Sheriff of Nottingham finds himself hunting a serial killer with a penchant for tax collectors.

But his investigations soon bring him to the attention of the Merry Men, terrorists lurking amongst the trees of Sherwood, led by an enigma known only as ‘Hood.’

This wonderfully twisted, medieval noir is out now, priced £3.60.

AMAZON’S TILL-FREE SHOPS HIT UK

They’ve been doing it in the US for a while – walking into shops, picking up groceries, and just walking out.

And now you can do that in the UK for the first time.

I’m not talking about shoplifting, or course, I’m talking about Amazon’s new till-free grocery stores… the first of which, on this side of the Atlantic, opened in London last week.

It may seem strange to some, but the idea is you check-in at the store by scanning an app on your phone, and then you can wander round the various aisles collecting your shopping.

When you have everything you want, you just walk out of the shop without going to the checkout and Amazon charges you for all the things you have taken, sending you a receipt by email.

Other shops offer similar services, of course, but they require that you scan items either with your phone or a scanner provided by the store. In the case of Amazon Fresh, which is located in the borough of Ealing, a complex system of sensors and cameras tracks your every move as you make your way around the shop and knows what you have picked up without the need for scanning.

It’s the ultimate convenience store.
