Three new faces at consultancy Colliers

-

THE Birmingham office of consultancy Colliers has made a series of appointments to its property management team.

Associate director Nick Yates has joined from Savills and senior surveyor Paul Blennerhassett and estates assistant Kirsten Hald have both arrived from Bruton Knowles.

The accurates division, which specialises in business rates auditing, has welcomed compliance and audit manager Terry Darby from Cushman and Wakefield and compliance and audit assistants David Bayliss and and Billie-Jo Edge, from Daniel Thwaites and BST Supplies & Co respectively. Completing the line up of new recruits is Lauren De Courcy as senior surveyor in the valuation and advisory services team, joining from Lambert Smith Hampton.

Head of the Birmingham office James Cubitt said he expected further appointments to be made in the coming months.

“We provide a comprehensive range of professional services and the pandemic has meant these have been in greater demand than ever before,” he said.

“The first quarter of 2021 has been our busiest ever as an office and follows an exceptionally active year in 2020 when the office maintained its turnover levels in line with 2019 performance.

“These seven new appointments to the Birmingham office will be integral to enabling us to continue providing the highest level of service, amid increasing demand from clients navigating a time of unprecedented challenges.

“The Birmingham office of Colliers is already the company’s biggest regional UK office, with a staff of around 120, but instructions have been increasing at such a pace that it is likely that the team will need to be expanded further.”
