BONFIRE Night is almost upon us and here are some of the events in and around Brum...
Edgbaston Fireworks Spectacular and Funfair. Edgbaston Stadium, Saturday, November 6
The fun-filled event includes a funfair, face painters, balloon modellers, food stalls and fireworks. Gates open at 5.30pm and the fireworks start at 7.45pm.
Solihull Bonfire Night. Tudor Grange Park, Saturday, November 6
Solihull’s largest fireworks display will be the biggest in its 50-year history. Gates open at 4.30pm on Saturday, November 6, with the bonfire lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks display at 7.30pm.
Alternative Bonfire Night. Blakesley Hall Museum, Friday, November 5
This event is perfect for people who do not like the bangs and loud noises of the traditional Bonfire Night. It will include a circus fire act and a glow-in-thedark activity trail for kids. There are two time slots available – 5pm-6.30pm or 7pm-8.30pm.
Tamworth Firework Display. Tamworth Castle, Saturday, November 6 2021
The fireworks will begin at 7pm but the entertainment starts at 5.30pm. There will be facepainters, a sparkler zone, funfair and an array of performers.
Himley Hall Bonfire and Firework. Himley Hall and Park, Saturday, November 6
This firework display will have a circus theme. With a heartstopping soundtrack it will take visitors on a journey to the Big Top’s acrobats, tightrope walkers, trapeze artists, jugglers and clowns. There will also be a night market, street entertainers and a huge funfair. Gates open 4.30pm, bonfire lit at 7.45pm, fireworks 8.30pm.
Drayton Manor Firework Spectacular. Drayton Manor Theme Park, Tamworth, Friday, October 29 and Saturday, October 30
Enjoy a fun-filled day at the park, with special spooky live entertainment, then once the sun goes down, experience all the highlights of the past year with the fireworks display.
Sutton Coldfield Bonfire Night. Little Hay Miniature Railway, Saturday, November 13
A traditional bonfire night with fireworks plus unlimited train rides. Gates open at 6pm, fireworks at 7.30pm.
