A BIRMINGHAM hotel has been named the best hotel in the UK at prestigious hotelier awards.

Park Regis Birmingham won the accolade at this year’s M&IT Awards at London’s Battersea Evolution venue.

Organised by the Meetings and Incentive Travel magazine, the awards bring together all sectors of the travel industry to reward excellence of service.

Award voters gave the four-star hotel the gold prize for Best UK Hotel.

Silver was awarded to The

Celtic Manor Resort in Newport, Wales and Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa in Hampshire took home bronze.

The awards, which are widely seen as one of the most prestigious annual events for the hotel industry, are independently voted for by customers.

Park Regis Birmingham opened its doors at the top of Broad Street in 2016 as an “elegant 4-star luxury hotel in the city centre offering a spa, fine dining”.

The 1565 Restaurant serves breakfast to guests as well as an a la carte menu for non-guests. There is also the glamorous 1565 bar offering afternoon tea and happy hour.
