White Christ­mas will bring Chaos to Stour­bridge

THE book­ies are no doubt al­ready tak­ing bets on whether or not we’ll get snow over the fes­tive pe­riod – but we can tell you with ab­so­lute cer­tainty that Stour­bridge will get a White Christ­mas.

Cradley Heath Am­a­teur Op­er­atic So­ci­ety – CHAOS for short – will be pre­sent­ing a

Irv­ing Ber­lin’s White Christ­mas at the Town Hall from 13 to 17 No­vem­ber.

As well as the songs White Christ­mas and Sis­ters, the show fea­tures a much-loved mu­si­cal score in­clud­ing such clas­sic songs as Blue Skies, Snow, I Love a Pi­ano, How Deep is the Ocean and Count Your Bless­ings.

“We prom­ise an en­joy­able evening’s en­ter­tain­ment for all the fam­ily with a fes­tive fam­ily feel­ing of award-win­ning stan­dards from the longestestab­lished Am­a­teur Op­er­atic So­ci­ety in the whole of the Black Coun­try and the per­form­ing tal­ents of the area,” said CHAOS spokesper­son Michelle Cas­sells.

“We are a multi-award win­ning com­pany high­light­ing the per­form­ing tal­ent of the Black Coun­try and sup­port­ing lo­cal char­i­ties and de­serv­ing causes. Our first ven­ture at Stour­bridgetown Hall last year – Dolly Par­ton’s ‘9 to 5 – The Mu­si­cal’ – proved to be a huge suc­cess and earned CHAOS the award for Best Cho­rus from the Birm­ing­ham and Dis­trict Theatre Guild.”

The group is the long­est es­tab­lished Am­a­teur Op­er­atic So­ci­ety in the whole of the Black Coun­try hav­ing been founded in 1908.
