White Christmas will bring Chaos to Stourbridge
THE bookies are no doubt already taking bets on whether or not we’ll get snow over the festive period – but we can tell you with absolute certainty that Stourbridge will get a White Christmas.

Cradley Heath Amateur Operatic Society – CHAOS for short – will be presenting a
Irving Berlin’s White Christmas at the Town Hall from 13 to 17 November.
As well as the songs White Christmas and Sisters, the show features a much-loved musical score including such classic songs as Blue Skies, Snow, I Love a Piano, How Deep is the Ocean and Count Your Blessings.
“We promise an enjoyable evening’s entertainment for all the family with a festive family feeling of award-winning standards from the longestestablished Amateur Operatic Society in the whole of the Black Country and the performing talents of the area,” said CHAOS spokesperson Michelle Cassells.
“We are a multi-award winning company highlighting the performing talent of the Black Country and supporting local charities and deserving causes. Our first venture at Stourbridgetown Hall last year – Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5 – The Musical’ – proved to be a huge success and earned CHAOS the award for Best Chorus from the Birmingham and District Theatre Guild.”
The group is the longest established Amateur Operatic Society in the whole of the Black Country having been founded in 1908.
