Cattle results

The cattle champion at Strathardle Agricultural Show on Saturday was shown by Brian Webster, Forter, Glenisla, with a spring born Limousin cross British Blue bullock.

The reserve was shown by Brigadier Dunphie, of Cloquhat Farms, Bridge of Cally, with a Limousin calf.

The judge was John Paul, of Ballingall Mill, Leslie. Trophy winners were as follows: Best stot calf by any other breed of bull (SAI Cup) - Brian Webster, Forter.

Best heifer calf by any other breed of bull (Davidson Cup) - Brigadier Dunphie, Cloquhat, Bridge of Cally.

Best stot calf by Charolais Simmental bull (Adamson Cup) - N Parsons, Invereddrie, Glenshee.

Best heifer calf by Charolais Simmental bull (Woodhill Cup) - David Bryce, Formal, Glenisla.

Best spring-born calf bred by exhibitor (Cloquhat Quaich) - Forter. Best cow (Balmyle Cup) - Cloquhat. Best pair of calves (Wester Kinloch Trophy) - Cloquhat.

Most points (Herdsman Tankard) - Neil Drummond, Cloquhat.
