Sleuths sought for upcoming murder mystery evening in Blair Town Hall

-

Blairgowrie Players are holding one of their popular murder mystery nights on September 16 in Blairgowrie Town Hall.

The action focuses on a murder at Talbot Manor and guests are invited to try to solve the mystery over a light supper and drinks - and win a prize.

A coach party has arrived at Talbot Manor in the middle of a thunderstorm. The electricity has gone off and the access bridge has been swept away leaving guests cut off.

A spokesperson continued: “The old mansion house plays host to some strange and shady characters and some equally curious and unexpected guests drawn in by the storm.

“Are all the visitors what they seem? Are the family all upright, honest and respectable?

“The action takes place on a night when the sinister owner is getting up to all sorts in his secret laboratory prior to the reading of his late brother’s will.

“One of the characters falls victim to foul play and it is up to the audience to put their deduction skills to the test, working out who did it, how and why?

“The evening begins with a short sketch, followed by opportunities for the audience to question all the likely suspects.”

Tickets are available from the Music Box on Allan Street, priced £10 (£5 for under 16s).

Tickets may also be available on the door. Doors open at 7pm.
