There was a good turnout of members who enjoyed light refreshments following the game.

The highest up rink for the ladies was N Nicholson, C Donaldson and A. Graham. The ladies won 42-24. Members are reminded that the presentation of prizes and dinner dance tickets are now on sale.

They can be bought from any committee member or from the bar staff.

Notice of the start date for the winter carpet bowling will be given as soon as possible.

There is a Bowls Scotland workshop in the clubhouse on Wednesday, October 5, from 7pm.

It is designed to update clubs on bowls-related subjects and gives an opportunity to discuss the way forward with members from other clubs. All members welcome.

Meanwhile, Rattray Bowling Club held its annual open fours tournament on Saturday, September 3.

Club president James Watson is pictured presenting the trophy to the winning rink of Colin Jamieson, George Lennon, Steven Lennon and Adam Rennie from Stanley BC.
