Workshop gives pupils a confidence boost
Senior pupils at Blairgowrie High School enjoyed a Live-N-Learn workshop recently to boost their confidence and enhance their study techniques.
Through the interactive workshop, students received recommendations on how to study effectively through the exam period with tips on working out how long to work, and where, when and how to study and the best environment in which to do so - while ensuring that they still managed to put time aside for social and recreational activities as well.
Participating pupils were each supplied with a personal booklet containing their own timetable and other activities that further develop what they learned during the presentation.
Live-N-Learn deliver workshops throughout the UK working with staff, pupils and parents to encourage young people to grasp as many opportunities as possible and build their confidence through experience.
One of the pupils at the workshop commented:“One of the most difficult parts about being a teenager is often figuring out what to do with yourself during and after the final years of high school.
“The Live-N-Learn workshop helped with this.
“Confidence building was also a large focus of the presentation, mainly looking at how to build confidence in yourself and how to constructively use confidence in daily life.”
