Tablet skills course on offer

A series of free interactive workshops to develop basic tablet skills is being offered at Blairgowrie Library next month.

Aimed at older learners who are new to the world of the internet, the Generation On Line teaching app guides the user through a series of hands-on, interactive, step-by-step instructions to develop basic tablet skills, followed by practice exercises for specific popular tablet functions.

Participants proceed at their own pace, and, with instructions that lead to internet applications, learn how to use email, web searches and YouTube as well as other tablet tools such as the camera, texting, and video calling.

The workshops in Blairgowrie Library take place on Friday, June 16, Friday, June 23, Friday, June 30 and Friday, July 7.

All the workshops run from 10.30am till noon.
