Graeme is owner of Maxwell’s Desserts, a bespoke patisserie and dessert supplier to the catering trade based in Bridge of Earn.

Graeme started his successful business more than eight years ago and now heads up a team of four to produce and deliver high-quality treats – everything from perfect squares of Gateaux Opera to Bakewell Tarts and indulgent chocolate cakes.

Maxwell’s Desserts’catering trade clients include hotels, outside catering companies, restaurant­s and cafes.

They are also able to supply private events and regularly do cookery demonstrat­ions.

Originally from Glasgow, Graeme is a pastry chef to trade.

He has worked in some of the best restaurant­s in the UK and counts Michelin star Michael Caines as his mentor having spent many years working under him.

Graeme is passionate about using local produce whenever he can.

He supplies a broad spectrum of customers from high end hotels like Gleneagles and Fonab Castle to Glendoick Garden Centre and the RoyalYacht Britannia.

Graeme also made the dessert for Zara Philips’wedding, produced afternoon tea for David Beckham and deals regularly with VIP special requests such as for his lemon tart from Her Majesty The Queen when she visits Holyrood.

As well as a wealth of name-dropping stories, Graeme delights audiences at his demonstrat­ions with plenty of wit and Glaswegian patter – making him one not to miss!
