Charity shop is a big success
Volunteers from the Abbey Church in Coupar Angus held a charity shop on George Street in the town for two weeks this month.
And organisers are delighted to have raised an incredible £4855 - with more still to come - which will go towards church funds.
Sheila Legge was one of the team of volunteers from the Abbey Church who were behind the successful running of the shop.
On behalf of the church she thanked everyone who supported the shop by donating or buying goods or tickets for the tombola, or who helped out in running the shop over the two weeks it was open.
