Cash in store as Jags get share of charity shop
Volunteers helping the Peza Trust and Blairgowrie Thistle FC were kept busy when they opened the Reform Street charity shop at the former J&J Howe premises on Monday morning.
Organiser Frances Fleming said the proceeds were in aid of the Peza Trust (Scotland), a Zimbabwe charity which helps disadvantaged kids to learn through sport.
Blairgowrie Thistle AFC, east Perthshire’s newest amateur football team, will also benefit from a portion of the proceeds.
The shop remains open this week from 9am to 4pm each day until Friday, when it will close at noon.
