Blairgowrie Players bring popular murder mystery show to Murthly

-

The Blairgowrie Players will be performing their popular murder mystery The Curse of the Willoughby Diamond in Murthly Village Hall on Saturday, September 30 at 7.30pm.

The Curse of the Willoughby Diamond is a play of mystery and intrigue.

Recently widowed Lady Constance has decided to sell the Willoughby diamond and several odd characters appear to have an interest in it.

Lady Constance’s dippy daughter Daphne has recently become infatuated with Rupert, to whom the maid Alice has also taken a shine.

Montgomery, Lady Constance’s brother-in-law, suddenly arrives to be greeted by Abdul, an Eygptian from the village where the diamond was taken.

Then there is Potts, the grumpy gardener who’s been with the Willoughby family for many years.

Someone is murdered, Inspector Foot arrives and attempts to find the culprit with the help of the audience.

Tickets cost £8 and are available from The Card Gallery on Allan Street in Blairgowrie, telephone 01250 876444, from the Nisa store in Murthly, or at the door on the night.
