Adult ed­u­ca­tion classes set to start soon

There are still some spa­ces avail­able on Blair­gowrie and Alyth Adult Ed­u­ca­tion As­so­ci­a­tion’s au­tumn classes.

A cal­lig­ra­phy course will run for 10 weeks from 7pm to 9pm at the Cre­ate@Nest stu­dios on Re­form Street in from Oc­to­ber 2, priced £45 per per­son.

Also at Nest are cro­chet­ing classes with Tra­cie Dick start­ing on Oc­to­ber 17 for six weeks (£40) and felt­ing for begin­ners with Sarah Urie, again start­ing on Oc­to­ber 17, from 2pm to 4pm, and cost­ing £40 for six classes.

Rachel Bower is run­ning a six week fused glass work­shop at Nest from 2pm to 3pm start­ing on Oc­to­ber 19. The class fee is £30 with £65 for ma­te­ri­als.

Four classes with Sheila Brink­ley in Mei­gle, start­ing on Septem­ber 25 and tak­ing place from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, will look at spe­cial plants and costs £25.

In Blair­gowrie, a 10-week class in Tai Chi with Lilla Streather, started on Septem­ber 26.

The in­ter­me­di­ate class is from 10.30am to noon and is £45 while the begin­ners class is from 2pm to 3pm and costs £30.

Dru Yoga with Aileen Brown at St Cather­ine’s cen­tre on Ge­orge Street in Blair­gowrie is £30 for eight classes and starts on Oc­to­ber 26, 7.30pm to 9pm, or al­ter­na­tively with Bar­bara Speed in Alyth Town Hall from Oc­to­ber 9, 7.30pm-9pm, £40 for 10 classes.
