3 - Animal welfare sale in aid of cats and other animals in need, St Martin’s Public Hall, Balbeggie, 10am-4pm. Stalls include Brownies, Christmas goods, bric-a-brac, ‘good as new’, books, CDs, toys, jewellery and plants. There will also be a tombola, raffle and refreshments. All welcome.
3- Rattray Bowling Club annual dinner dance and presentation of trophies, 7pm. At the Clubhouse. Music and three-course meal. Tickets can be obtained at the bar in the clubhouse.
3 - Blast in the Park fireworks display and bonfire. Larghan Park, Coupar Angus, 7pm. Fire-breathing dragon, pipers, food, funfair. Free entry but donations to support local charities would be appreciated.
4 - Big Listen 4, Blairgowrie Library, 9.30am to 12.30pm, a range of free activities designed to encourage more people to use their local library and find out what it has to offer. Featuring performances from Perthshire Brass, a Lego zone, a messy painting session and Code Club demonstrations. Volunteers from Blairgowrie Genealogy Centre will also be on hand.

12 – Remembrance Day Parade, organised by Blairgowrie Branch, Legion Scotland from Upper Brown Street at 12.20pm to the War Memorial in the Wellmeadow. The laying of wreaths and the Service start at 12.30pm.
12 - Remembrance Day Service, Coupar Angus Abbey Church, 10.45am, followed at noon by a parade led by Coupar Angus Pipe Band from the Cross to the war memorial at Coupar Angus Primary School where there will be a short service by Rev Andy Gray. Organisers are keen to encourage as many people as possible to represent local groups and veterans at the memorial service.
