Volunteers praised as group’s work goes on

-

Volunteers with the Blairgowrie and Rattray Access Network (BRAN) are continuing in their efforts to ensure the area is looking its best.

Paths at White Loch and Darroch Wood were cut early last week by Grahame Mustard and Ally Donald.

This followed on from similar work undertaken the previous week.

Elsewhere, overhanging broom on the Loch View to Ardblair Road path in Blairgowrie was cut back by local resident Mr Lambie, who was thanked by the group.

BRAN volunteer Grahame also cut the paths at St Fink Farm and Loon Braes with a push mower.

Meanwhile, Keith Reid and his wife Morag cut back overhanging and side growth in Meiklelour Wood over several hours.

Later in the week, Ian Richards and Ally could be found strimming a new path from Brucefield Road to Welton Road well-used by people walking their dogs.

A BRAN spokesperson congratulated everyone involved and thanked them for their efforts.

They said: “Well done everyone involved this week.”
