The Alyth Community Support Group is running a foodbank as well as offering support.

CARE BLAIR
Kyle Wilson has set up a community project, Care Blair, which, in partnership with Tesco, has small food parcels to give to those in need.

BOWLS OF HELP
Bowls of Help at Blairgowrie Bowling Club on Lochy Terrace is open from 10am to 2pm, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until Friday, July 17.
It is a joint venture between the bowling club and the Blairgowrie and Rattray Coronavirus Co-ordination Group which provides a venue where residents can pick up free groceries and other items to supplement what they already have.
CARSIE
Volunteers in Carsie are making regular telephone calls to local residents and helping out as and when required.

CORONAVIRUS CO-ORDINATION GROUP
The Blairgowrie and Rattray Coronavirus Co-ordination Group is working with community groups, individual volunteers, service providers and businesses.

COUPAR ANGUS
Volunteers organised by Coupar Angus Community Council are on hand to provide support with food shopping, collecting prescriptions, posting mail, walking dogs or a friendly chat.
The contact number is 07745 792482. Coupar Angus Community Larder is open every Tuesday and Friday in the town’s former Bank of Scotland premises on Union Street from 9.30am until 1pm.
Free canned and dried goods are available, as well as local produce.
Donations of dried goods and items such as toilet rolls and toiletries welcome.
Volunteers can collect and deliver items from the larder if required.

Guildtown Friendship Club is offering to pick up essential shopping and medication for people on Wednesdays.

KETTINS
Kettins Community Support Group consists of community council, guild and hall committee members covering the Keillor, Kettins, Markethill and Campmuir areas.
Support includes shopping, prescriptions, regular email updates, as well as befriending.
Anyone can join and there are also regular posts on the Kettins Parish Hall Facebook page.
All households have had a flier posted through their door about the services available and updates are posted on noticeboards.

LUNCH CLUB
The Saturday Lunch Club delivers a weekly lunch to people in Blairgowrie and Rattray who would normally attend get-togethers put on hold due to coronavirus lockdown restrictions.
The free service is being supported by local businesses and organisations, as well as individuals providing homecooked food.
The initiative is being supported by funds raised by the Blairgowrie and Rattray Coronavirus Co-ordination Group’s Crowdfunding campaign.

MOUNT BLAIR
Locals have created a directory of volunteers willing to help the vulnerable and those in need, known as the ‘I Can Help’ list, and the Mount Blair Resilience Group.
The list has been communicated via email circular Newsgroup, the MBCC and Mount Blair Development Trust Facebook pages and the websites www. mountblair.org and www.mbcdt.co.uk.

NEIGHBOURFOOD BLAIRGOWRIE
The Blairgowrie and Rattray NeighbourFood scheme offers products direct from over 20 local farms, food producers, market traders and specialist suppliers.
The online initiative has moved to a delivery service in order to stay in line with government guidelines regarding social distancing.
The service delivers to homes within the Blairgowrie and the Glens area or a 10-mile radius of the town centre.
Customers register online and receive a notification when the weekly market is open, usually on Thursday evenings.
They then have five days to place their order for their weekly shop, which is delivered on Thursday evenings.

The Woodside and Burrelton Support Group Facebook page is gathering details of volunteers who can help with shopping and collecting prescriptions.
