A children’s classic brought to life

YOUNG PERFORMERS SELL-OUT PETER PAN AT THE EASTGATE

- By Stardust Performing Arts

STARDUST Performing Arts returned to the stage at the Eastgate Theatre last weekend to perform two sell-out performances of the much-loved children’s classic ‘Peter Pan’.

Seventy-five cast members sang and danced their hearts out.

And they gave their audiences truly memorable performances of the classical book.

The show was directed by Hannah Paulin who had been working over many months with the pupils to prepare them for their big show.

The young performers received rapturous applause and praise and complements continued on social media afterwards.

“A brilliant show”, said one; “A-maz-ing”, said another, “Fabulous”, “Another wonderful show from Team Stardust”; “Simply a great show”.

Show producer Fiona Henderson said: “We are absolutely delighted with our cast and crew who put on such wonderful shows this weekend.

“We had 50 per cent more performers than our last show in 2023 so the planning and organising and preparation that goes into producing such a show get more complex every year.

“Our pupils have been working so hard for months and boy did they really did pull it off in style.

“Our teachers were so very proud of each and every one of them. It was fabulous to see them so happy and confident on stage and the audience reaction said it all in terms of the quality and standard of their performance – truly amazing.”
