The club kicks off the season with a pulsating show, writes Ken Myatt

SOLIHULL ABC’S first show of the season at the Land Rover Social Club rewarded the large attendance with 15 contests.

The bout between Joe Mullen (Solihull) and Armaan Khan ( Wellington) was outstanding.

In the first round Mullen tried boxing behind his jab with Khan powering forward.

In the second and third rounds he was advised by his corner to walk Khan down resulting in a pulsating contest.

The ref congratulated both boxers and raised Mullen’s hand in victory,
