Craig Turner celebrates a successful event

ON Saturday (October 28) at Bristol Civil Service club, the return leg of the Cork-bristol boxing exchange programme took place.

The return event was a massive success for a partnershi­p between the Cork County Boxing Board, Downend Boxing Club, Broad Plain Boys club, Bristol Sporting Club, Young Bristol and Western Counties ABA.

Sincere thanks are due to the wonderful staff of the SS Great Britain for providing the guests with a superb visit.

After 11 superbly contested bouts, Bristol retained the trophy by one contest.

The return takes place in County Cork next year.
