SOLIHULL ABC held their second show of the reason on November 17 at the Ivy Leaf Social Club in Birmingham.

14 contests with 14 clubs taking part made it an enjoyable night of boxing.

Solihull’s 23-year-old twins Rob Jones and Dave Jones [pictured left] both had hard contests with Rob losing a split verdict. Dave kept the Jones flag flying by beating M. Kabeel (Aston Birmingham) on a close but unanimous verdict.

Schoolboys Jenson Williams (Solihull) and Jay Van Gelder (Studio, Birmingham) had a cracking contest with Williams having his hand raised in victory, getting a split verdict from the judges.
