PROSPERE PUMMELS POOR PATKO IN ONE
Valevski according to referee Mr John
Lewis.
There were also one-sided and predictable debut wins for: Northolt’s Dennis Wahome who controlled every round to notch a 40-36 (from Mr Every) win over Belfast’s Alec Bazza; Bobby Woods displayed punch power and impressive switch hitting to also secure a – you guessed it – 40-36 points victory over Anto Nakic on Mr John Lewis’ card; Mo Gharib impressed with a dominant and powerful performance over Andy Harris.
Referee Mr Every scored the contest 40-37.
Hammersmith’s Hamid Sediqi forced a second round stoppage over Latvia’s Maxims Dembovskis. The stoppage came at 2-07 of the session after digging right hooks to the body sent Dembovskis to the canvas twice, forcing Mr Cook to step in.
Bromley cruiserweight Ellis Zorro
cruised to a 40-36 points victory over Jindrich Velecky on referee Mr Cook’s scorecard. Zorro showed much promise with well-timed jabs that he set everything up behind.
Tunji Ogunniya was yet another who didn’t lose a round (60-54) against Jan Korec.
Ogunniya threw everything at Korec, including a slick left hook in the final session that forced him to the canvas but he made the final bell in this Mr Cookofficiated bout.
Acton’s Dalton Miller beat wellknown journeyman, Lewis Van Poetsch,
39-37 on referee Cook’s scorecard. The same score was handed down by Cook as Chingford’s Liam Dillon produced a tidy performance over Stockport’s Jamie Quinn.
Completing the action was Walthamstow’s Sam Giley’s victory over Jan Balog (40-37, Every the referee) and Wembley’s Youssef Khoumari beat Joe Beedon, winning each of the four rounds on Mr Cook’s card.
THE VERDICT Not much in the way of drama but some solid workouts for prospects.
