IF YOU WERE TRAINING A BOXER TO FIGHT JOSHUA, WILDER OR FURY, WHICH OF THE THREE WOULD BE THE EASIEST TASK AND WHY?

Wayne Alexander

Former EBU champ

I would have to say Wilder, just because I think that he is the easiest to hit of the three. He is not a massive heavyweight and you know what to expect from him. He will continually come forward and try to take your head off. But it wouldn’t be easy as he always has a puncher’s chance.

Fury is the trickiest, Joshua is growing with every fight, and while Wilder is arguably the most dangerous of the three, he’s far more predictable. You would have to produce the ring smarts to defeat him, land the jab and use footwork to avoid his left hook and right hand.

Miles Shinkwin

English lightheavy champ

Right now, you’ve got to pick Wilder after his last fight with Fury. If you navigate your way around his right hand, you can make him look quite ordinary.

Dave Coldwell

Leading trainer

I think it depends on the fighter you have, but I’m going to pick Wilder. Yes, he has the power and the long levers, but he also has terrible feet. An old, slow Luis Ortiz was outboxing him. Joshua is a better all-round boxer than Wilder, but Fury is the biggest nightmare and hardest to beat.
