-

THE Goodwin Boxing show at York Hall featured nine four-rounders – with Basildonbased Latvian Kristaps Zulgis knocking out unbeaten Bradley Spencer in round three at super-middle.

Bedfont’s Spencer was dropped by a left hook late in round two. When floored again early in the third, he was counted out after 30 seconds by referee Chas Coakley.

Plymouth’s Lewis Everson won the first two rounds of his welter contest with Charlie Sheldon, but the Bury St Edmunds man rallied for a 38-38 draw (referee Lee Every).

Southampton southpaw welter Constantin Ursu saw a four-threes cut to four-twos when

Josh Hodgins scaled 10lbs heavier. But it was over after one minute 26 seconds, with the Birmingham man halted by Mr Coakley after being floored and cut on the right eyelid.

London featherweight Joke Amechi outscored Hull’s rugged Luke Fash 40-36 for Mr Every, while Ipswich super-middle Jordan Warne beat Robbie Chapman of Chalk Farm. Warne won 39-37 for Mr Every, scoring ringside for trialist referee Sean Mcevoy.

And 39-37 (for Mr Coakley) was the winning margin for Bideford southpaw middleweight Billy Stanbury over Islington’s

Jordan Grannum, who won the last in his 100th fight.

The 40-36 score went to Plymouth superfeather Connor Adaway over Swindonbased Romanian Constantin Radoi; to London super-lightweight Ahmed Hatim against Roger Sampson (Sheffield); and to Port Talbot super-welter Conor Mcintosh

over Southampton’s Vladimir Fleischhauer.

Mcevoy handled Adaway (scored by Mr Coakley) and Mcintosh (scored by Every), with Every refereeing Hatim.
