SEVEN days having to be scrapped, Goodwin Boxing promoted without problems at the venerable East End venue.
Unbeatens met in a featherweight fourrounder that saw Tottenham’s Andrei Santa do well in the first with his jab before Lewis Frimpong (Oxford) took the remaining sessions and win 40-37 for referee Lee Every.
In a cruiserweight six Amersham’s Jamie Smith chipped away at Ossie Jervier, hurting him late in round three and then dropping the Willesden man hard in the next. Referee Kieran Mccann waved it off, the time 2-42 of round four.
Dunmow super-middle southpaw William Webber oupointed Callum Ide (Bognor Regis) over six, Every scoring 60-54 from ringside while Sean Mcavoy refereed.
The remaining action was over four rounds, with a shock in the super-lightweight showopener as Canning Town southpaw Lee Hallett fought to hold Ealing’s Pat Gill to a 38-38 draw. Every scored with Mcavoy in the ring.
Canterbury lightweight Brandan Olbrechts dropped Worcester veteran
Michael Mooney and he was counted out by referee Every at 3-01 of round two.
A 40-36 verdict went to debuting former London amateur champion Andrei Dascalu (Stonebridge/romania), who beat Robbie Chapman (Chalk Farm) at super-middle for Mr Mccann; Reading light-heavyweight
Timon Douglin, who outworked Lydney’s
Lewis van Poetsch, Mccann scoring for Mcavoy; lightweight Joe Roswell, who bested Swindon-romanian Constantin Radoi for Mr Every; and Crawley super-lightweight
James Verbeeten, who bloodied the nose of Melksham survivor Liam Richards (Mccann refereed).
