We say: If you actually have camcorder footage taken in the Eighties, you might very well wonder why someone would want to recreate that shaky,
glitchy feel on an expensive smartphone.
Apparently, it’s because old things are now fashionable, but you’d have to fork out a few quid on eBay to get the real thing (and then puzzle out how to get the footage onto your phone).
Anyway, all the retro goodness is in this app, which even allows you to overlay the date and time in those blocky white letters. Like it’s 1984 all over again.
