Sunday football Tyler does the trick for Weston

BRISTOL Weston United began life in the Premier Division of the Bristol Premier Sunday League with an impressive 6-3 win against Cutters Friday at Stockwood.

Tyler Jackson (3), Liam Orchard (2) and Connor Britton scored for Bristol Weston, who took command after it had been 2-2 at the break.

Newcomers Tytheringt­on Rocks Sunday gave 3 Lions a tough game before going down 4-3 to a side expected to be challengin­g for the title this season.

At Norman Scott Park, 3 Lions Reserves won 6-1 against SWYD United, with Darius Davey and Tom Young both striking twice. FC United of Yate had goals from Luke Lecrass, Jamie Pearson and Blaine Skusein a 3-2 win against Sportsman.

Bristol Academia began their senior Division campaign with an 8-0 home hammering of Little Stoke Old Boys.

Samuel Preece scored both AFC Loddeka goals in a 4-2 defeat at Kingswood Athletic.

James Kelly, Josh Meacock and Ricky Wiltshire in a 5-2 win on Hanham Common against Lawrence Weston Athletic, for whom Ryan Cainey and Montel Riches scored. Joe Fear, Dave Pike and Richard Prynn scored for Breakaways in a 3-3 home draw against Bristol Jaguars, whose goals came from Mason Davis (2) and Jamie Thomas.

Keaton Cook led Borussia Bristol to a 10-1 Division One thrashing of Cutters Friday A with four goals, with Corey Hathway (2), Joe Hillard (2), Jack Harris and Joshua Rostron also on target.

AFC Sodbury made it two wins from two with a 3-2 success at Longreach Athletic, thanks to goals from Zachary Cox (2) and Daniel Brown. Jack Coggins and Jordan Cox replied. Thomas Couston (3) and Daniel Turner (2) fired Spartans to a 5-0 home win against Hanham Cricket.

Tidenham Sunday had goals from Mo Salihu (2) and Aaron Charles in a 3-2 win at Yate Rangers, whose marksmen were Kieran Davis and Scott Strauss.

In Division Two, AJN Sunday won 2-1 at the Crown Field against Fishponds Town

Wizards. Simon Harris and Michael Watson scored for AJN, with Joshua Lowen on target for Wizards.

Ben Conway (2) and Nick Pennington fired Signal Generals to a 3-1 home triumph against Shire Green Rovers, whose goal came for Olly Stokes.

Whitchurch Sunday had goals from Simon Moore (2), Joseph Cole and Jason Magee in a 4-3 home win against Bristol Argyle, who replied through Sam Reynolds, Chris Thorne and Mike Priday.

In Division Three, Sporting QTAC won 9-0 against Sporting United, Hambrook United had two goals from Tom Blackmore in a 4-0 success at Bristol Blues, while Matthew Bryant struck twice as Hanham Athletic Sunday beat Longreach Athletic Reserves 4-1.

Badocks Wood made it two wins from two in Division Four with a 3-0 triumph at Bristol Spartak, while Bristol Union did likewise with a 1-0 victory at Southmead Sunday. A hat-trick from Michael Alvis led DRG Frenchay to a 7-1 against Digital Dash, while The Argonauts beat South Bristol 7-0.
