BRISTOL ROVERS PLAYER RATINGS

-

ANSSI JAAKKOLA - 8

Made a decent close-range save to deny Harry Anderson in the first half. Nothing he could do with the goal and his glovework was flawless.

MAX EHMER - 8

All of the Gas defence will be disappointed with the goal conceded, but he was otherwise superb and showed his nous to win some important free-kicks to ease the pressure.

JACK BALDWIN - 8

Rock-solid at the heart of the back three, winning the header almost every time the ball came into the penalty area.

CIAN HARRIES - 8

Rovers believed they had a diamond in Cian Harries, should he develop defensively. He has, and how. Threw his body on the line.

JOSH HARE - 9 (pictured)

This lad has magic in his right boot. What a cross for Daly’s vital equaliser and he picked a lovely ball to Hanlan before he won the penalty. Fantastic all-round performance.

DAVID TUTONDA - 7

Looked a little nervy in the opening minutes but grew into the game as the minutes went by. Created the best chance for either side in the first half, driving into the box and picking out McCormick, who sliced wide. Bit sloppy in the closing stages, but a good performance all told. JOSH GRANT - 8

His best game in the blue and white quarters. Calm, commanding, shielded his defence with authority and played a hand in the equaliser, picking a lovely pass for Josh Hare to send him free down the right.

ZAIN WESTBROOKE - 7

Gritty performance from such a cultured player. Was neat and tidy on the ball and aided the defence well.

LUKE MCCORMICK - 7

Relentless. Supported attack and defence with equal measure and had a few decent efforts on goal.

JAMES DALY - 9

What a time to get your first senior goal.

Rovers were behind for just 90 seconds as the 20-year-old striker rose above the Lincoln defence to head the Gas level. Never stopped running and his goal was just reward for his efforts.

BRANDON HANLAN - 8

Won a penalty for himself and scored it for the second week in succession. With physicality and speed, he’s a defender’s nightmare.
