SYMBIOTE SPIDER-MAN: KING IN BLACK #1

NEXT month sees the launch of Marvel’s crossover mega event – King in Black.

And while Venom will be at the core of this latest series, Marvel is issuing some tie-in stories to give fans the background to the event.

From the pen of legendary writer

Peter David, this miniseries sees Spidey come face to face with Knull, the god of the symbiotes.

Set in the past, it sees Peter Parker sporting his fan-favourite black costume.

Is it possible Knull has been eyeing Earth longer than we all thought?

■ All will be revealed in Symbiote Spider-Man: King In Black #1, priced £4.50.

SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN #1

A DARK tale from BOOM! Studios, this limited, five-issue series explores your darkest nightmares.

When the children of Archer’s Peak begin to go missing, everything seems hopeless. Most of the children never return, but the ones that do, have terrible stories of terrifying creatures that live in the shadows.

And just when all seems lost, a stranger arrives in town ... a mysterious woman who claims to be able to see what the children do.

Not only that, she says she can kill monsters.

Something Is Killing the Children #1 is out now priced £3.60.
