KEYNSHAM Town consolidated their place in the middle of the Toolstation League Premier Division with a 3-1 win against neighbours Brislington on the 4G pitch at the AJN Stadium.

Jack Dancy’s 21st-minute strike put Keynsham one up at the break, and he made it 2-0 early in the second half. Jamie Noble added a third before Brilington pulled a goal back late on.

Clevedon Town are in fourth place following a 3-0 win against bottom side Chipping Sodbury at the Everyone Active Stadium.

Ethan Feltham headed in a Jay Murray cross to give Clevedon the lead on 17 minutes.

Nathan Brown went close with a header for Sodbury, before Callum Briggs struck a second for Clevedon with a 30-yard strike in the 35th minute.

Will Gould latched on to a long clearance from goalkeeper Harley Wilkinson to wrap up victory in the 75th minute, and Sodbury’s misery was compounded by the stoppagetime dismissal of Josh Coombe for a second booking.

Only three other Premier Division games were played, as Covid issues and waterlogged pitches continued to hit the scheduled programme of fixtures.

Tavistock Town moved up to second with a 4-0 win at Buckland Athletic, Wellington won 2-0 at struggling Bridport, while Westbury United had a 1-0 derby success at home to Bradford Town, thanks to a first-half goal from Joe Stradling.

In the First Division, Corsham

Town went top with a 2-1 success at Warminster Town, which maintained their unbeaten record from 10 games.

Previous leaders Welton Rovers lost for the first time this season as Radstock Town gained a 3-0 win at West Clewes, where a Covid-maximum crowd of 300 was in attendance for the derby clash.

Radstock scored all three goals in the first half as Rustell James (2) and new signing Morgan Marsh found the net. Chris Pile came close for Welton with a shot which struck the post.
