50 things to do in 2021 ( fingers ) crossed

- Beth CRUSE beth.cruse@reachplc.com

MANY of us were looking forward to ticking off a few more things on our bucket list in 2020, such as heading to the annual Balloon Fiesta and watching a gig at the O2. But coronavirus meant all of that had to change.

There is lots to do in Bristol, including annual events that attract people from across the country, but we all have to consider Covid restrictions that remain in place as we enter 2021.

Bristol and South Gloucestershire are remaining in Tier 3 for now, but it is possible this could change meaning some ideas on our 2021 bucket list won’t be possible.

Under the current Tier 3 restrictions, you must not meet with anyone you do not live with, or are not in a support bubble with, inside.

However, you can see friends and family you do not live with in some outdoor public places, in a group of up to six. These places include parks, beaches and countryside. This means most of the activities in this list are possible.

But if Bristol moves up to Tier 4, this means people are supposed must stay at home. You cannot meet other people indoors, unless you live with them or they are part of your support bubble. This means some of the activities in this list would not be possible.

For more information on tier restrictions, see www.bristolpost. co.uk/news/bristol-news/bristoltier-review-more-areas-4840605.

But it is more important than ever to remain positive and stay active in 2021, so we have compiled a list of 50 things you can aim to do by the end of the year. Good luck!
