BUDGET airline easyJet is launching two new routes at Bristol Airport as demand for UK travel soars.

The airline company will now fly to Jersey and Aberdeen from Bristol to help serve the demand for domestic travel due to the pandemic and uncertainty of foreign holidays.

Fares begin at as little as £14.99 as flights to these two locations within the UK begin in early July.

From July 9, easyJet will be flying to Aberdeen on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with fares starting from £24.99.

Then from the following day on July 10, flights will be running on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to Jersey for as little as £14.99.

The flights will allow those living in the South West more opportunities to reconnect with friends and family across the country or to explore the UK this summer.

Ali Gayward, UK Country Manager, commented: “We know our customers can’t wait to be reunited with friends and family or have more opportunity to explore the UK so these news routes from Bristol should prove popular and will further strengthen our domestic network providing customers with even more choice.

“We also know it is important to our customers to be reunited with loved ones overseas so we continue to urge the UK government to add more countries to the Green list – which can be done safely – to make this possible.

“We continue to have some of the most flexible policies currently in place so customers can book with confidence and change their plans if they need to, making travel as easy as possible this summer.”

Dave Lees, CEO Bristol Airport, commented: “We’re delighted that easyJet are continuing to grow their schedule from Bristol Airport adding two destinations, Jersey and Aberdeen from July 2021 to the network.

“EasyJet’s continued expansion of their Bristol base is a real vote of confidence in the region, and ensures that customers living in the South West will enjoy even more choice when it comes to the routes available from their local airport.

“Providing our region with more opportunities to connect with their friends, family and loved ones as well as for business, tourism and education has never been more important.

“Customers can also be reassured that the health, safety and security measures in place in aviation remain our key priority to support opportunities to return to travelling and connecting with each other again.”
