STRAIGHT & NARROW CEO STONEHAM TO GREAT CAUSES

- Jason Stoneham

JASON REVEALS HIS VISION FOR THE COMPANY, AND WHY GIVING BACK

MY DREAM has always been to develop a dynamic profitable business from scratch.

Giving back is key to our core values, we achieve this by supporting charitable partners in particular Cure Leukaemia.

After working in the retail industry for 30 years, 10 of those as a professional interim, three years ago I recognised the potential of the low and no alcohol drinks market, and I set about helping a couple of start-ups developing their own brands, also launching a retailerown label.

The market has developed at a frantic pace and is now ready for a full portfolio of recognisable 0% spirits offering great value for money.

I founded S&N Drinks during lockdown.

I noticed my alcohol consumption had increased so decided to go on the ‘straight and narrow’ myself for 46 days.

I quickly realised that there was a limited choice of great tasting, affordable, healthy and recognisable products to choose from... until now. Straight & Narrow will be launching with their new design and bottle in September.

Initially, the range will consist of six 0%, non-alcoholic, great-tasting products with a suggested retail price of £15, offering great value for money.

The six drinks are:

• APOROL Italian Aperitivo

• POMMS Summer Punch

• GON Classic

• GON Cucumber & Mint

• GON Rhubarb & Ginger

• GON Mixed Berry

The liquids are carefully blended with natural ingredients, are low in calories and have no artificial colours of flavourings. So every time a Big Summer BBQ host or guest raises a glass, they will feel good inside and out.

We are proud to have recently become a partner of Cure Leukaemia, with a percentage of our annual profits being donated to the charity.

We are very excited to be involved in The Big Summer BBQ.

All funds raised by Straight &

Narrow will be invested in the national Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP), which Cure Leukaemia began funding in January 2020.

Consisting of specialist research nurses in 12 of the UK’s biggest cities and a facilitatory hub at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, TAP enables blood cancer clinical trials to run at an accelerated rate.

These trials benefit blood cancer patients from a catchment area of over 20 million people, giving the 38,000 people diagnosed with a form of blood cancer in the UK each year the chance to access potentially lifesaving treatments not currently available through standard care.

I heard about the work of national blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia in 2019 when I took part in their London 2 Paris closed-road cycling event.

Inspired by meeting patients and other members of the charity during the four-day event, I believe that it is the perfect cause to align my new company with.

I was so inspired to cycle alongside patients all the way to Paris who are alive today thanks to the work of Cure Leukaemia.

The family atmosphere and camaraderie during that event was evident throughout and I felt that Cure Leukaemia was the perfect fit for Straight & Narrow, and I am looking forward immensely to working with them.”

It is inspiring to think that every time a glass is raised, you will feel good inside and out. Cheers!

LIKE CURE LEUKAEMIA IS IMPORTANT TO HIM...
