Presenter Maya goes public with love match
BRISTOL-BORN presenter Maya Jama has been spotted kissing her basketball player boyfriend Ben Simmons at Wimbledon, as the pair go public with their romance for the first time.
The 26-year-old TV presenter and 24-year-old Australian sport star Ben looked more interested in each other than the action on the court on Monday as pictures show them locking lips.
The TV beauty snuggled up to the basketball star – who plays for the Philadelphia 76ers – and looked head-over-heels as she laughed and giggled beside him.
Rumours circulated in May that Maya and Ben were an item after they spent two weeks together in the USA.
Tongues were set wagging when the Bristol beauty joined the sport star for an extended break in Philadelphia.
A source said in May: “Things are hotting up for Maya and Ben. They are really into each other and the fact she flew to Philadelphia to be with him says a lot.
“They had a fun two weeks together. It’s nice to see her so happy.”

Jenner, while Maya split from long-term boyfriend Stormzy in 2019 after four years of dating.
Rumours had been circulating that Maya was dating youtuber Chunkz after the pair were spotted together in Bristol last week, but were quickly quashed as Maya and Ben confirm their relationship. Fans have been rooting for Maya and Ben to become a couple as far back as 2019 after followers on social media noticed the basketball player leaving flame emojis under a number of her posts. The pair have kept rumours of their romance at bay by refusing to directly involve each other on social media posts. However, Monday’s public display of affection will leave fans convinced that they are now an item. Last year, Maya said she was anxious about dating after attracting a high degree of interest while linked to Stormzy. She told Cosmopolitan: “It’s made me extra careful. I was 20 when I got into that [with Stormzy]. Now life is different. Even social media is bigger. It’s going to be harder to keep things private but I’ll do my best.”
