The UK’s newest hotel brand, Marine and Lawn Hotels and Resorts, has teed off with the opening of Marine North Berwick in the Scottish seaside town.

Chris Niven, a former MasterChef: The Professionals’ contestant, will oversee the kitchen of the Lawn restaurant.

Trains from London to the French Alps will restart this winter as skiing opens up again after pandemic lockdowns shut the mountains.
Paris-based leisure giant Compagnie des Alpes has reached an agreement with Eurostar to run the non-stop Travelski Express from St Pancras International to Moûtiers and Bourg Saint Maurice for the 2021-2022 season. The train will depart on Friday evenings from St Pancras with returns on Saturdays.
British skiers and snowboarders will be able to book exclusive packages including rail travel, transfers, accommodation and ski passes.
