Toolstatio­n/Hellenic Super Keynsham stun Bitton

BITTON lost top spot in the Toolstatio­n League Premier Division to Tavistock after being beaten 4-1 at home by neighbours Keynsham Town.

Keynsham were given a 19thminute lead by Matt Browne, and Jordan Anstey added a second just after half-time.

Stef Lee struck the third on 67 minutes, and although Jack Ball pulled one back for Bitton, Keynsham wrapped up a superb three points with another goal on 81 minutes and now stand sixth in the table.

Ashton & Backwell gained a second win of the season with a 4-0 home win against bottom side

Bridport, thanks to two goals from Alfie Cummings and one apiece from Bradley Skidmore and Miles Hardidge.

Cadbury Heath moved up to 15th on the back of a 3-0 win against Wellington at Springfiel­d. Dean Preddie (2) and Oktawain Gala, with his first goal for the club, struck for Heath.

Brislingto­n crashed to a 7-0 defeat at Bridgwater United, with five goals conceded in the last 10 minutes.

Seven Premier Division matches produced 31 goals, and it was a similar goal-fest in the First Division, where 46 were scored in 10 games.

Unbeaten leaders Welton Rovers marched on with a 2-1 win at

Bishop Sutton. Jake Slocombe scored both Welton goals, either side of a Craig Wilson strike for Sutton.

Second-placed Oldland Abbotonian­s won 4-3 at home to Odd Down, after it had been 2-2 at halftime. Andrew Nash bagged a hattrick for Abbotonian­s, with Josh Dempsey also on target.

Hengrove Athletic and Almondsbur­y also enjoyed 4-3 wins, against Lebeq United and Sherborne Town, respective­ly. Danny Dodimead (2), Sam Jackson and Luco Ponsillo fired Hengrove to victory, while Ashley Knight, with a hat-trick, and Isaac Flynn were the Almondsbur­y marksmen.

Portishead Town had a fine 4-2 win at Devizes Town, while AEK

Boco are in third place following a 3-2 home win against Gillingham.

Bristol Telephones lost 2-0 at home to Radstock Town, while Bailey Croome scored for Tytheringt­on Rocks in a 1-1 draw at home to Bishops Lydeard.

In a top-of-the-table Hellenic League clash at The Lawns, Cribbs went down 3-0 to leaders Malvern Town.

Bottom side Hallen were unable to build on a midweek win at Brimscombe & Thrupp as they conceded three goals in each half to lose 6-0 at home to Westbury United.

Roman Glass St George won 4-2 at Lydney Town, but Chipping Sodbury went down 4-1 at Longlevens.
