■ Double Michelin-starred French chef Daniel Boulud will open his first restaurant at sea on board Celebrity’s newest Edge class ship next spring.

The internatio­nal restaurate­ur will debut on 140,600 gross tonnage, 3,260 passenger Celebrity Beyond, currently under constructi­on at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in SaintNazai­re, France. Announcing the standout Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud restaurant, Celebrity chief Lisa LutoffPerl­o said the ship’s culinary experience will be “without comparison”.

In total, Beyond will feature 32 food and drink outlets, including 15 restaurant­s, five cafes plus 12 bars and lounges.

British designer Kelly Hoppen has again added her touches to several of the third Edge ship’s signature venues. Beyond will sail her maiden voyage from Southampto­n on April 27, heading to France, Portugal and Spain then spending the summer in the Med and Aegean. See celebrityc­ruises.com
