AEK Boco A are already threatening to run away with the Bristol and District Senior Division crown on the strength of another dominant display.

Karim Rendall’s hat-trick, Mikey Golding’s double and Jamie Johnson’s effort proved far too much for Chipping Sodbury Town A, who had raised Ridings morale by winning two on the spin before coming unstuck 6-0 at Boco’s Greenbank Rec base.

Stapleton, in third spot, also kept up their unbeaten record, although they were made to sweat for their latest three points by Highridge United A before Liam Ogbourne and Louis Ross efforts confirmed a 2-1 win.

Lewis Hammond’s goal for Henbury Reserves ended up a consolation as Lawrence Rovers, with Luke Hayward, Christopher Gallion and Kai Holmes on target, emerged 3-1 winners.

Totterdown United Reserves, squeezed past guests Patchway Town Reserves 1-0 thanks to Jasper Mumuni’s goal.

James Cook celebrated a treble as Thornbury Town Reserves maintained a tight grip on the Division One leadership thanks to a 3-1 Mundy Fields win over Brimsham Green.

Bradley Stoke Town Reserves are going well in fifth place, after Ash Rogers-Milburn’s hat-trick, Charlie Wills’ pair and Aiden Molyneux and Mitch Bombroff singles catapulted them past a Tormarton team, whose Glynn Dickson notched, 7-1 on their travels.

Lion roared to a 5-1 win, and worsened Hanham Athletic Reserves’ plight at the foot of the table, courtesy of Callum Slade (2), Lewis Hurley, Alex Moores and Josh Armstrong goals.

Old Sodbury were indebted to Tom Bidder, Jordan Miller and Josh Field for finding the net and seeing them to the 3-2 home win over fellow high-fliers MPK Lofts, for whom Thomas Gould and Toby Kinnerly scored.

Josh Allen registered for Olveston United Reserves, and Jordan Miles did likewise for visitors Iron Acton Reserves, as the team fought out a 1-1 draw at Castle Road.

In Division Two, Jaheim Stewart hit a hat-trick, his delight at that tempered by the fact his undefeated DRG SV Frenchay Reserves hopefuls were held 3-3 at home by mid-table Bradley Stoke Town A, whose goals came from Steve Johnston, Liam Platts and Tom Muller.

Greyfriars Athletic Reserves had Matt Sykes (2) and James Clark on target in a 3-2 home win against Highridge United A.

Ross Pidgeon, Matt Smith and Brad Flook scored for Pucklechurch Sports Reserves, who held firm at the top as they saw off spirited visitors Shaftesbury Crusade Reserves 3-2.

Bendix, in fourth, had Jacob Backwell’s double, and Ewan Dineen and Will Reininho strikes, to thank for a fine 4-1 win at second-placed Stoke Lane Athletic.

Joshua Gilberson fired all three goals for Crosscourt United, who claimed a first victory of their Division Three thanks to a 3-2 home victory over a high-riding Thornbury Town A team who repied through George Baker and Matthew Chapman.

At Somerdale Pavilion, Alex Robertson, Jack Knowlson, Steve Hill, Dan Pimble and Andrew Cutting goals catapulted Oldland Abbotonians Colts to a 5-0 win over lowly Fishponds Athletic.

Dan Lamb struck twice, and Luis Santos and Nigel Ramana grabbed Bristol Barcelona Reserves’ other goals, as their team secured a second success of their Division Four season with a 4-1 home win over a Patchway Town A team that responded through Ramana’s own goal. Kori Crosbie’s brace and Tom Sellars’ strike saw Roman Glass St George Reserves win 3-0 at home to bottom-placed Lion Reserves.
